Enjoyment and Ego

  • The planes of Mind, Vital and Matter were created without ignorance or ego.
  • Ananda belongs to every plane by its original structure.
  • The enjoyment in each plane differs from other planes and it is independent of the ego. Ego's enjoyment is its assertion.
  • Often we say "I offer him genuine help, but he does not accept it. Sometimes he suspects. I don't know why." One reason for this is the presence of ego.
  • As far as help is concerned, there are two reasons for its not being received. 1. It may not be in his scheme of things. In that case, naturally he will not be interested in it. No one is entitled to thrust anything on another. It amounts to interference in the journey of his soul. 2. It may be tainted by the ego of the giver.
  • The physical man demands obedience from another for the simple satisfaction of physical domination. This comes from the possessiveness of the physical. Possessiveness of the physical is different from the ego of the physical. The physical by its own tight cohesiveness feels satisfied with another object only when it is part of its cohesion. This is possessiveness that is part of the nature of the plane.
  • Ego is the coordinating intelligence which is the result of the externals being coordinated around a centre. Or a centre is created during such coordination. Thus, ego is formed in the mind and we have its vital and physical versions.
  • Domination of the physical and vital are well known. Mentally its version is the other man accepting our ideas. As man is FULL of ego, it always colours his actions and others resent it.
  • Man acts for enjoyment. It is the enjoyment of the plane or the ego or both combined.
  • Enjoyment of expression of an idea, exchange of emotions, of an action is readily and happily received when it free of ego.
  • When it is resented, ego may be there.
  • Egoless enjoyment expands without resistance all over the world.
  • Enjoyment is egoless.
